Dr. Yu Li, an Associate Professor. She received her Master and Ph.D. degrees from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her research mainly focuses on innovative water and wastewater treatment processes for micropollutants control, such as disinfection byproducts and heavy metals. She is also interested in understanding the fate and effects of contaminants in aquatic environment.
Since 2019, she is the principal investigator (PI) of five research grants such as National Natural Science Foundation of China Project (NSFC), Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, etc. She has published more than 30 SCI papers in leading environmental journals, including Environmental Science and Technology, Water Research, Environment International, Journal of Hazardous Material, etc.
Currently, she is the group member for New Pollutant Control of Shenzhen Ecological Environment Bureau; a reviewer for more than 10 scientific journal, such as Water Research, Journal of Hazardous Material, etc.
