Dr. Qianqian Zhang, Professor. She was the awardee of the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars (2021). Her research field is Environmental informatics and simulation. She has been committed to the emission estimation, fate modelling and ecological risk of emerging pollutant in large-scale (river basin / national / global) area, as well as the research and promotion of chemical management technology. She has developed methods for estimating the emission of emerging pollutant such as antibiotics, drawn the national pollution map, evaluated its relationship with bacterial resistance and the ecological risk at the river basin level, which has become a hot paper in the field of environmental science and has attracted extensive attention from the Chinese government and domestic and foreign media. She also has developed the China's watershed chemicals management platform (https://chemicals.scnu.edu.cn), and obtained the application and promotion of the environmental management department. She is the principal investigator (PI) of several research grants, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China Project (NSFC) and Guangdong Natural Science Foundation. She was one of the awardees of the First Award of Science and Technology in Tianjin. She has also won the Gold Award of Ecological Environment Youth Science and Technology Award of Guangdong Environmental Science Society, Excellent Doctoral Thesis of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and World's Top 2% Scientists, etc. She has published more than 30 SCI papers in various international peer-reviewed journals, such as ES&T., Water Res., Environ. Int., etc.
