Dr. Yunqiang Yi is a native of Fengcheng, Jiangxi Province. In August 2020, he entered the school of environment, South China Normal University, focusing on the synthesis of magnetic biochar and its removal of heavy metals and organic pollutants in water or soil. He has published 17 SCI papers, of which 13 were published as the first author or corresponding author in Chemical Engineering Journal, Biosource Technology, Journal of Cleaner Production and other journals. He has presided over one regional joint youth fund project of Guangdong Province, one young teacher training fund project of South China Normal University, and participated in national key research and development program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Joint Foundation of NSFC-Guangdong Province and actual contaminated soil remediation projects.
