In the afternoon of November 5, 2019, the School of Environment (SoE) held the ‘No Scam, Health Life’ lecture about how to prevent fraud in the classroom 112 of the social science building No.1. The speaker of this lecture is Mr. Dong Ma, a police officerform XinTang police station of Tianhe District, Guangzhou. The Mrs Zhenchun Xi and Mr. Deqing Chen attended this lecture. All the students of the School were in the lecture. The purpose of this lecture was to aware the studentsaway from fraud and improve their ability to identify the trick.
Mr. Ma introduced the knowledge about how to prevent fraud and anti-fraud by showing videos and analysis cases.. Pointed out the younger generation should be honest and trustworthy, and able to distinguish right from wrong, and should always be alert. At last, Mr. Ma asked the attendees few questions such as the ways of scam, if anyone has experienced scams and the advice about how to avoid fraud. The students sad that this lecture was very helpful and enhanced their awareness of scam.
