Dr. Yijing Shi, Associate Professor. She was a Joint Ph.D of The Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag/ETH) and Shandong University, in Environmental Engineering. She had postdoctoral research experiences in University of Alberta (2013-2015) and Washington University in St. Louis (2017). She is working on the research field of environmental microbiology, biological wastewater treatment and resourcezation, with research interests of antibiotic biodegradation and ARGs, biological nitrogen removal and biofilm processes. She is PI of 1 project supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and 1 project supported by Program of Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Environmental Pollution Control and Remediation Technology. She published more than 30 scientific papers in Journals of Applied and Environmental Microbiology, Functional Ecology, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Science of the Total Environment and so on, with 3 invention patents authorized.
