Dr. Jianliang Sun is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Environmental Engineering in School of Environment, South China Normal University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2015, and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at HKUST in 2015-2017. Dr. Sun’s research interests include iron-sulfur redox cycle and its applications in pollution remediation and abatement of emerging organic pollutants. In recent years, Dr Sun has published over 20 journal papers, including 11 SCI papers as the first author and corresponding author in leading environmental journals (e.g., ES&T, Water Research and Chemical Engineering Journal). He is the member of the International Water Association (IWA), American Chemical Society (ACS) and Chinese Chemical Society (CCS), and also served as the invited reviewers of many top journals, including Water Research, Chemical Engineering Journal, Separation and Purification Technology and Chemosphere.
