Professor Laisheng Li graduated from Tsinghua University in 2003 and got his doctor degree. He is the director of Guangdong provincial engineering technology research center for drinking water safety and Guangdong provincial key lab of functional materials for environmental protection. His research interests focus on environmental functional materials, advanced oxidation processes (AOPs including catalytic ozonation, photocatalysis et al.), control and remediation technology of water pollution, evaluation and control of water quality. He is the principal investigator of a number of research grants, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Major Science and Technology Program for Water Pollution Control and Treatment in China, Nation High-Tech Research and Development Program in China, etc. He has published one book in Chinese, and more than100 SCI papers in international journalswith a citation of > 3000 (including Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, Water Research, Environmental Science & Technology, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces et al.), and 5 national invention patents（authorized）.
