Dr. Bo Yan is the Professor of the school of Environmental, South China Normal University. He received grants from Guangdong Natural Science Funds for Distinguished Young Scholar, “Guangdong Te Zhi program” youth science and technology talent of project, Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He also serves as vice-president of school of Environmental, member of Environmental Protection Committee of China rare Earth Society and member of Guangdong Provincial Sustainable Development Association. In 2007, he received a doctorate in environmental engineering from South China University of Technology. In the same year, he joined the Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to carry out postdoctoral research and transferred to work in South China normal University in 2018. Mainly engaged in waste/wastewater pollution treatment, pollution remediation and comprehensive utilization of resources theory and technical research, in industrial wastewater treatment and reuse, comprehensive utilization of tailings resources, active silicate soil heavy metal pollution remediation, organic waste liquid / waste supercritical water oxidation / reduction treatment and other fields have made some innovative achievements and understanding. More than 30 projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the leading project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the key projects of Guangdong Science and Technology, and the entrustment of enterprises, have been conducted or completed. The related research results have published more than 80 research papers and 14 patents. The related achievements won the second prize of science and technology of China nonferrous metal industry, and the second prize of scientific and technological progress of Shaoguan City.
